Calcium silicate insulation board, also known as: calcium silicate board, calcium silicate insulation board, asbestos free calcium silicate board, asbestos free calcium silicate insulation board, insulation calcium silicate board, microporous calcium silicate, is a new type of inorganic building material made by mixing silicon materials (mainly composed of SiO2, such as quartz powder, fly ash, diatomaceous earth, etc.), calcium materials (mainly composed of CaO, such as lime, calcium carbide mud, cement, etc.), reinforcing fibers, additives, etc. in a certain proportion, and through processes such as copying or molding, steam pressure curing, etc. It is a white and hard new type of insulation material. It has the characteristics of light bulk density, high strength, low thermal conductivity, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, cutting ability, sawing ability, etc. Calcium silicate board has good thermal insulation performance. The thermal insulation performance of 10mm thick partition wall is significantly better than that of ordinary brick wall, and it also has good sound insulation effect. Calcium silicate board has stable performance, acid and alkali resistance, is not easily corroded, and will not be damaged by moisture or insects, ensuring a long service life. Widely used in the fields of power, metallurgy, petrochemicals, construction, ships, etc. for insulation and fire insulation of equipment pipelines, walls and roofs. It is currently the most popular new type of hard insulation material in the power, petrochemical, metallurgical and other sectors. This calcium silicate insulation board is particularly suitable for insulation of various heat treatment industrial furnace equipment, and can replace diatomaceous earth, perlite materials, refractory fibers, etc. It has strong insulation performance.

Calcium silicate can be divided into two categories based on different usage temperatures: ordinary type and high-temperature type
Ordinary calcium silicate is divided into three types based on density: 240 type, 220 type, and 170 type, all of which can be used for insulation of equipment and pipelines below 650 ℃. Hydrophobic calcium silicate is a performance improvement of ordinary calcium silicate. It adds waterproof components during the production process. In addition to the various properties of ordinary calcium silicate, it also has the characteristics of non water absorption and moisture resistance. It is particularly suitable for underground buried pipelines in swamps and trenches, as well as aboveground overhead pipelines in humid areas.
Calcium silicate insulation board belongs to asbestos free lightweight calcium silicate insulation board. When used together with lightweight refractory bricks or refractory concrete, it is an ideal backing insulation material. As is well known, the low thermal shock resistance of calcium silicate makes it unsuitable for use in the hot end of lining layers.
Calcium silicate insulation board has the advantages of low thermal conductivity, high thermal resistance, low thermal shrinkage, low bulk density, sulfur free, and low iron content.
Characteristics of calcium silicate insulation board
1. Safe use of warm clothing up to 65O ℃, 30O ℃ higher than ultra-fine glass wool products, and 150 ℃ higher than expanded perlite products.
2. The low thermal conductivity (γ ≤ 0.56w/m.k) is much lower than other hard insulation materials and composite silicate insulation materials.
3. Small bulk density, with the lowest weight among hard insulation materials, the insulation layer can be thinner, which can greatly reduce the need for rigid supports and lower installation labor intensity during construction.
4. This insulation product is non-toxic, odorless, non combustible, and has high mechanical strength.
5. Construction is safe and convenient.
6. This product can be used repeatedly for a long time, with a lifespan of several decades, without compromising its technical specifications.
7. The appearance is white, beautiful and smooth, with good flexural and compressive strength, and minimal loss during transportation and use.
